A platform to protect young people’s rights
The aim of the project is for young people to speak out and for their opinions on current social challenges in Europe to be heard.
Together, they will produce a publication for the public showing how children’s and young people’s rights can be better protected and strengthened. A code of conduct for youth people developed by the young people provides guidance on how to ensure the protection of them. The publication will be presented to respective political leaders in an official setting in Berlin and Brussels.
NextGenRights: “Our voice counts!” is an intercultural exchange programme involving up to 190 young people aged 16 to 26 from Germany, Poland, Italy, and the UK. Participants are young people with a history of migration or seeking refuge as well as young people from socially, geographically, and/or economically disadvantaged backgrounds who seek to stand up for their rights.
