Creating democracy visions through dance and music

Project “Network Modules to Improve Cultural Understanding” aims to create an international network for intercultural understanding within Europe, through conferences and exchanges using dance and music. Together with various artists, the young adolescents create their own unique vision of a true democracy. They also learn the differences between democracies in Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

Independent of language barriers the adolescents not only learn to express themselves through dance and music, but they bring their own abstract vision of democracy to life. The project results are presented as part of a festival, showcasing the partnership with dance.
