A place for exchange

The “EnableMe Community” operates under the slogan “Together we grow”, with the aim of creating an increasingly inclusive society which clearly, visibly, and actively represents disabled young adults and adolescents. It intends to help young adults to be independent despite their newly diagnosed chronical illness or disability. Through its established online self-help platform offering therapeutical services and exchange amongst peers, a rise in self-confidence, independence, and equality is fostered. Many new diagnosed young people find themselves in a situation of self-discovery and having to build their own life during the time of diagnosis.

The new and not unfrequently unexpected life conditions might increase current life challenges even more, which is why the “EnableMe Community” aims to create an online space of exchange for peers to converse openly to smooth the transition into a new life.
